Better be vocal
You best denounce the atrocities being committed by Islamics/Muslims in this world.  Being silent makes you part of the world wide terrorist group.  Read "Imperial Hubris: Why the West is Losing the War on Terrorism." Remaining silent, says the CIA author, makes you part of the problem.

Cheers.

Undocumented Muslims
There is a large number of Muslims, like Latinos, who are without documents in the United States. The U.S. government has proposed to give them temporary legal status. They are as good as any American Muslims in this country. We all know the kind of problems they are facing under the current inhospitable circumstances. Is it not the duty of the Muslim Organizations in this country to look after them. They are confronting problems in getting jobs, they cannot have driving licenses. Medical care is a big problem for many of them.

May I ask what the Muslim Organizations in this country with large funds collected from around the world have done for them.

Will the Muslim Organizations come forward and explain what they have done to meet the dire needs of  the undocumented Muslims ?

Muslim Education Foundation
I find your site interesting and useful in the sense that it is, so far, open to free speech and independent opinions. Some of the pieces in the guest book are really thought provoking. I hope  more Muslim activists, social workers and scholars will come forward and suggest ways and means to  help the Muslim community in America come out of the stereotypes and play their constructive role in this progressive society. America is truly a melting pot and the Muslim community should also try to become a useful and respectable part of this nation.

There are among our Muslim leaders who prevent us from moving with the main stream and this they are doing in the name of Islam and the Muslim culture. We should resist such calls which are, in fact, aimed at promoting their faith-related business.

There are a number of Muslim organizations in this country and each one of them is engaged in empty rhetoric  doing nothing constructive and positive to help advance the interests of Muslim youth in America. They are collecting funds, sometimes from all over the world, but none of them has so far thought of setting up an Education Fund to help those Muslim students who cannot continue their higher studies due to lack of financial resources. The Christians, Jews and Indians all have  realized the importance of education and have moved into this direction in a responsible manner. Why can't the Muslims do this ?
