Our ignorant clergy
I was delighted to visit your website which you have set up to help find appropriate solutions for the problems currently faced by the American Muslim Community as a whole.
I hope the independent and open minded Muslim scholars will come forward and suggest ways and means to help restore the true image of Islam which has been so badly distorted by the fallout of terrorist attacks perpetrated by some so-called God obsessed Muslims.
The silent majority of the Muslim scholars and intellectuals around the world have been doing a great injustice to Islam by not exposing the deeds of many of our ignorant and misguided clergymen who have demonized Islam and almost converted this "religion of peace" into a "religion of violence".
It is truly said that those who can make people believe in stupidities can also make them commit atrocities.
I do not think God will be pleased if we distort history and fabricate HADITH to serve their evil designs aimed at promoting distorted version of Islam.
I believe the American Muslims should be loyal to their new homeland, duly care for their culture and strongly condemn the 'gangster culture' which is generally promoted by the ignorant clergy through their network of mosques and Islamic centers.
I wish you every success in pursuing your noble cause to help solve the problems of American Muslim Community.
